Mari and Peter Shaw offer you a tour of arguably Philadelphia’s most important private collection of international cutting-edge artists as well as work by notable Philadelphia artists. Their home is a stunning setting for the large and small-scale works that the Shaws have traveled the world to collect.  Mari is an advisor to artblog. Her forthcoming book on artist Thomas Chimes is based on years of conversations between her and the artist, until two days before his death. Real estate developer Peter places the work of Philadelphia artists in the buildings he develops, including works by photographer Zoe Strauss opposite the elevators on each floor of the 45-story St. James on Washington Square, by Alex Da Corte in the lobby of the blue-glass Murano highrise on Market Street, and sculptures by Jay Fuhrman in a number of Peter's projects.
